Dr. Heidi Winquist graduated from the University Of Colorado School Of Dentistry in 1993. She attended an intensive residency in general practice at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital in San Diego— focusing on advanced dental techniques and emergency medicine. She received many awards including Resident of the Year. Dr. Winquist was handpicked by the Navy to be one of the first women to open the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion (Seabees) to women.
Dr. Winquist returned home to Boulder to begin her private practice in 1996. She has gone on to many leadership roles in dentistry and in the community, including past-President of the Boulder/Broomfield County Dental Society.
Dr. Winquist grew up in Boulder and is now raising her two children in the Boulder county area. She is actively involved with many local charities. She helps with her children’s sporting events and their various clubs and activities. You might see her and her family around Boulder on bikes or heading up to Eldora to ski.
